The iWeb Story
iWeb, Inc started in 1996, as the Internet first started gaining momentum. Our first application (collecting dust somewhere now, for certain), the Javascript BBS written early that year established us as a young, innovative Internet software company. Later in 1996 and into early 1997, we developed an application, then called "YooHoo" to power one of our sister websites portal interface. Modeled after Yahoo, Yoohoo was developed for in house use, but due to popular demand, was rewritten as a standalone application, that became our first "killer app"...
Incorporated in 1998, we redesignated "YooHoo" (for obvious reasons) to "Hyperseek". Now in its 5th version, Hyperseek is our flagship product, and the defacto standard, to which all other applications in its class aspire.
Now, as we begin our 6th year of operations, our application suite is robust, complete, and limitless in their possibilites. Our business model has stood the test of time (6 years in Internet commerce is akin to 3 lifetimes in the real world), has proven to be financially stable and growing. Our staff is a shining example of what every company hopes for .... strong, dedicated, and personable.
